Sean: I am a 20+ year veteran in the IT field. I have a background of Desktop and End User Support but for the last 8 to 9 years my focus has been in IT Security and Cybersecurity.I started my IT journey at my high school working as a student technician support the various systems use by teachers and students. After high school I worked at local ISP in their Helpdesk where users would call to get setup or troubleshoot. Realizing that I need a degree I went to college and start a friend of mine hooked me up with a job as a student desktop support technician and a register technician. In 2005 I was hired full time and given my own support area for the financial administrative arm of the university. Before I left this position my area had grown to over 600 users and 6 student technicians reporting to me. Soon after this I was brought back over to our central IT and worked in the Client Infrastructure and End User Support group. There I managed our Altiris CMS and managed the University’s AD LDAP configuration.In 2012 I moved into our Security and Access Management team. It was here that I really found that everything I had done before had a single common thread that I had woven in: Security
